The Emperor
Drawing the Emperor suggests a mastery of the self and the environment. It is the potential hinted at in the Magus developed to its initial state. You have achieved a state worthy of respect by your peers, and they will look to your for guidance and support. You literally have the appearance of having your house in order, and have achieved or will achieve some moderate success in your endeavors, the model of social success and idealism. The Emperor is an active and decisive ruler, and you therefore must act with confidence in your skills and choices.
The image is of a regal man, seated upon the throne. This image is the result of the Magus evolved through the Witch and the Empress; he has mastered the tools of his trade and secured a place of status amongst his peers. The Emperor bares two symbols, the sword of action pointed upward and firmly held in his right hand, and a shield of materiality held on the floor. These symbolize his ability to act with confidence and power; he is a ruler, a force to be reckoned with. Over his right shoulder hangs a solar disc, another symbol of active power and material success.
The structure of the image is that of the Witch, a spiritual triangle resting on a square material base. However, unlike the Witch, his genitals are unguarded, displaying his will to act on a primal level.
The traditional meaning of this image is strength of will, material potential, and a strong authority figure.
