It's funny.

I never saw myself as a hero. But I died like one so I guess that's it. I'm a
hero. A dead gay football jock hero. It's no comfort to my grandmother or my
boyfriend but it's there, man. You've gotta take what you can get. I ate it
while saving the world. Now I keep wondering why I bothered.

Heaven is cool, don't get me wrong. Everyone knows everything about you and
they're done with all the judgmental stereotypical crap. So, you're you and
they love you. But that means we're bored most of the time. God understands
that, so we watch Earth like the superbowl up here.

And I'm watching like the rest. Socrates is all talking about the fun of the
universe and dust in the wind like some crazy Kansas song or whatever and I
see you, Buffy. You and the guys I helped save the world. And all you do now
is bitch and moan. Man, you're all weepy like a bad soap opera. Willow came
out! Go chica but really, she's the last one I expected. 'Cause Xander's
still in the closet and no one cares about anyone anymore.

What happened to you guys?

It's been two years. In two years you guys went from solid to scattered.
You're hanging with vampires like they're friends. Buff, you haven't killed a
vampire who's first name you know in like forever. You're failing us up here.
You're failing the people down there.

You know once upon a time you sacrificed the love of your life for a couple
billion people you'll never meet. Now..now you almost let those people die
because of one little girl who isn't even a little girl. Fuck man, why did I
die for you guys? I coulda been screwing half the football team by now. I
could be in college. I could be playing pro-ball. But I'm dead.

And you guys are a bunch of fuck-ups.

Man, what a waste! We shoulda just let the Mayor kill us all. At least then
we'd all be heroes.
