For those that have been following my acting career, here are the pics to give you an insight. For those that weren't aware of my acting, I had a six year break from the staqe and the silver screen and started in September 2001 with a part in Willie Russell's "Stags & Hens".

Liverpool, 1978 and Linda is getting married in the morning and takes her Hens to a local night club. Unbeknown to her, Dave (her bridegroom to be) is also at the same night club, spewing up in the bogs. There's a turn on at the night club and it turns out the male singer is Linda's ex from years gone by. All hell breaks loose when Dave's mob find Linda and the singer canoodling.

Stags & Hens ran from 16 - 30 September in the Stadschouwberg Theatre in the Leidseplein in Amsterdam. Produced by Neville Powys and acted by the In-players, an English based theatre group in Holland. I played the part of the Roadie. Stags and Hens was adapted for television called "Dancing in the Dark".

Hardly had time to buzz after Stags & Hens like the rest of the cast did, the day after the play closed I was called to Dutch Television (Nederland 3) and worked on a Dutch Police series called "Russen". Playing along side Dutch mega stars like Marjoleine Keunings, Tom Hoffman and Hans Dagelet, I played the part of a brainwashed sect member being held in a house against my will.

Things came to light about the sect when the father of Rose discovers where she's being held and tries to break into the house and the police are called. CID discover what's been really going on behind the doors of the millionaire's mansion at the top of the street. Russen was filmed in Amersfoort in October 2001 can be seen early 2002 on Friday nights at 9.35pm on Nederland 3.

Shorty after that, I was called back by Nederland 3 to take part in a new Dutch psychology series starring Marcel Hansema (new comer in the Dutch film "The Grot"). Marcel comes up with a new theory on psychology but the rest of his partners dont see it his way, disbelieving his theory. Marcel sets off to prove his theory, enter me and another pile of drunks living under a bridge in a park in Amsterdam. The particular episode of Wet & Waan (Law & Order) that I played in was filmed in Amsterdam in Novemer 2001 can be seen on Nederland 3 in August 2002.

Just before filming for Wet & Waan, I auditioned for a part in a played called "Drought" written by American born Sandy Clark. Drought is a play about when the world's water finally runs out and two brothers have captured the market by selling black market water. Unfortunately I was unsuccessful for Drought and didn't get the part. I shall however be working backstage.

From Drought, I turned to Festival Productions and their latest production, "Who'se Afraid of Virginia Wolf", originally starring Liz Taylor and Richard Burton back in 1962. Virginia Wolf had already been casted while I was busy with Stags & Hens so I never got to do anything about it and this time worked back-stage on set building and hair/make-up. Virginia Wolf ran from 4 - 16 December 2001, again in the Stadschouwberg Theatre in the Leidseplein in Amsterdam. Produced by Daniël Cohen.

May 2003 and I have just finished a film called 'Lager' and a stage production of 'Amadeus'. You can see photos of both productions by clicking on the 2 below links:-
