Yes, I know I haven't written for a long, long time - sorry! Not that anyone reads this anyway, but oh well. Yes - my grandmother died. It was really hard, and I miss her alot. The other night, for the first time, when I was lying in the bathtub, I wondered it Mom was going to take her out to eat. I almost started crying.
My father has been gone for seven years. Seven whole years. It's so unbelievable. You think I'd be used to it by now, but I just can't believe that I'm never, ever going to see him again. I just want him to waltz through the door like the past seven years never happened. I wish he were still here.
My cat, Shadow, died. I know it doesn't seem like a big deal, but I loved my cat. I want another, but not a black one. Not yet anyway.
Anyway, I got a job. I probably already mentioned that, considering the fact that I got it way back in August or so, but I thought I'd tell you again. It's okay. Working's not my favorite thing, but it's not the worst thing in the world. I like it sometimes. Most of the customers are nice and the people I work with are pretty cool. One thing I've learned is that, in older couples, it's generally the men who are nicer though.
I got my driver's license. I also have a car. It's pretty nice. It kind sux that my paycheck is getting sucked into my car, though, lol.
It snowed today. I couldn't believe it. Especially when it started sticking. But it stopped soon after. Still - it snowed and it's only October 16. How weird!

Well, as you can see, I don't have a new layout yet...Annie, who is a total sweetheart, has it designed and everything, but I think she's trying to find a pic to replace one I didn't like. Know what name I am completely in love with right now? Daniel. Why? I can't say. Maybe it's because I love Silverchair (I want Diorama!!! Grr...) and the lead singer's name is Daniel Johns. Maybe it's because I like the nicknames like Dan, Danny (Dirty Dan, haha!! The worldest dirtiest man) or maybe it's just because I'm completely psycho.
So, there's this boy that I like, and he says he likes me too, and wants to go out with me. Only, I went out with before and I ended falling for him and then we broke up. So I don't know what to do. It's about to kill me, ahh!
I took my driver's test. I failed. Oh, well, I didn't think I was going to pass. The lady was a witch with a capital w anyway. There was, like, dirt or something in the seat, and she was like "What is this?" in this really prissy voice. And then she couldn't figure out how to open the door!! LMFAO!!! So, as you can tell, I'm not too torn up about it.

The Future of Hanfic (Hanson Fan Fiction)
Yes, hanfic. I don't think Taylor being married is going to affect most authors' writing. The real Taylor Hanson and their Taylor Hanson are different, except for the name and appearance. They made up a character, and just named that character after and exsisting person. Those who feel as if they are really writing about T.H. might have a problem, though. They may either quit writing all together, or they may just write with Tay being married. But I don't think it will affect the writing too much.

The Married Man
Okay, so there's been some - well, a lot - of speculation over Taylor's marriage. It seemed very sudden, but it could be that he and Natalie just chose to keep their engagement secret.
Pregnant??
Some are saying that they married so quickly because Natalie's pregnant. There is also the fact that he and Nat seemed to have broken up several times that has people speculating about Nat being with child. If she is, she is. They are human, and humans make mistakes. Besides, any children that they have will probably be really beautiful, right??
The Other Woman
There were rumors that Taylor was going out with an Asian (maybe?) woman named something like Emily. People were saying that they were discussing an engagement for next summer. It seems highly unlikely because he and Nat married, but they did break up several times, so it's possible that he was seeming other women.
Taylor is Homosexual
Taylor's sexuality is something that has to be handled very carefully and with a lot of respect towards Taylor and the Hanson family. All I'm going to say is this: If Tay's straight - wonderful. If he's bisexual - good for him. If he's gay - that's cool, too, although it would squash any chance we had of getting together (because we all know there was a big chance of that happening).
His Eating Habits
Taylor's skinny frame combined with the interview in which one of the guys said that Taylor once refused to eat for two days and that he practically lives on coffee and candy sometimes has been the cause for much discussion. I'll admit, he is very, very thin, but he does travel a lot and is very busy, so it's possible that he just doesn't have time to eat properly or that he works off all the calories he digests.
So, there you have it. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it. If you agree, yay! If you don't, that's okay - we live in America, we're allowed to have opinions, right?

Not too much has been going on. My nephew (who is older than me - I know, it seems weird, but all my nephews are older than me save for one - came and took me riding on Sunday. Then Kate came over Tuesday and gave me two b-day presents (a really cute shirt and checkers - it's a long story). So we had fun doing the normal best friend stuff. I'm really glad she's back. I was kinda nervous that it would be different - I mean, we hadn't seen one another for over a year! - and things are a little different, but it's almost as if she never left. Yay, lol.

Okay, so I was lying in bed as I had been for the last hour when the phone rings. I was thinking 'Who in their right minds would call at 3:30 in the morning?!' and thought that maybe it was a friend of mine. So I get up, run into the living room and pick it up. It's my Aunt Jenny. She was calling to tell us that my grandma had been rushed to the hospital. So Mom and I go over there, and she's fine, but a little tired and cold. And we got back home around 6:30. So I am tired, and need to go to bed. But I don't want to. My mom's sleeping right now, and she's going to go see my grandma in the hospital later today.
Well, since I have nothing better to do, guess I'll go to bed.

In other news, I'm thinking about working at Hardee's. I'm not sure if I want to cuz, well, say I got hired next week. And figuring I go back to school around August 21st or so, that would be like a month and a week -- or something like that. My mom was like, "Well, aren't you going to work during school, too?" But I don't have a car. So as soon as she came home (from Hardee's, cuz she works there) I'd be taking off. That sounds kinda like a waste of gas to me. So I don't know.
Oh, I'm 16 now. Yep, the big 1-6 - since the 4th. It's not much different from being 15, actually, other than the fact that I can now take my driver's test. And that's another thing - I'm not very good at reversing, and I've only parked a couple of times. Oh, well, I guess I'll figure something out eventually.

Well, we're moved. We've spent the last few days cleaning our old house. I really like this house. I feel safer in town than I did in the country, but I am going to miss our old house. I mean, I practically grew up there!!
So, today I'm 16. Not sure how sweet it's going to be, but oh well. I haven't gotten any of my gifts yet, but that's okay. I'm not sure what we're doing, although everyone has been asking.
Kate's back. She came back Sat, and spent the night on Tues. We had fun. We walked around, and went down to the park...played cards...Monopoly...Guess Who...talked...yep, exciting, I know:) But it was fun. I'm so glad she's back. She's my best friend, and I've really missed her. Well, I'm gonna finish checking my email, so laterz!

So, I updated a little today - not much of an update, just went through the links page and deleted those that didn't work. I didn't get clear to the bottom, but oh well.
We're in the process of packing our stuff up. My sisters and my brother and a couple of other people are coming up Fri./Sat. to help us move, so hopefully we'll be in our new house by next Monday. I love this house, and I don't want to move, but I want the moving part to be over with. Besides, I know we need to move before our house falls in on us.
Kate's coming back!! Yay!! She said she'll be here either Fri. or Sat. - yeah, we'll be moving. But Mom'll probably let me go and see her. She knows how much I've missed Kate. Well, got to go and help my mom pack.
