It helps you learn to: ~Use a Web browser, e-mail, and newsgroups ~Search the Web efficiently ~Evaluate Web site quality ~Cite Net sources in bibliographies --It also offers netLibrary, which is a collection of online books that you can access through the Web. It is faster and much more efficient to use than a traditional library. --It also offers OSCAR which is the library’s online catalog which you can use to place a hold on a book that someone else has checked out, request items, view circulation record, and renew your checked out items. --The library also offers a nice little Java Master inside, which is a nice little place to study or just, relax. --It also offers a computer lab inside where students without a personal computer can go to access the Web or work on projects, papers, and labs. --It offers convenient hours night and day for all those students who want to go to a quiet place to study. --Usually offers a featured exhibit of the month. Coming up in February King Arthur is supposed to be the featured exhibit. --It offers a collection of: Literature, linguistics, philology, philosophy, religion, theater, anthropology, history, and political science. ~Mathematics and Statistics Lab~ --They provide FREE tutoring assistance in over 20 math and statistics courses --A designated tutor room for each course --Trained tutors also staff the rooms
