Name: Scott Speedman
Hails from: Toronto (but born in London)
Looks familiar because: He played Ben on Felicity .
His movie: Dark Blue (February 21), a cop drama about an LAPD rookie who teams up with a corrupt veteran (Kurt Russell) on a quadruple-homicide case.
His role: "He's just a kid who's in over his head and so intent on proving himself that he betrays everything he believes in."
His amusing anecdote: "I was staying in Toronto on my mom's couch when they called and asked me to audition for Felicity . I paid sixty bucks to rent a video room and put myself on tape. There was this 16-year-old kid operating the camera. I had these flirtatious love scenes with him. He played Felicity. It didn't bother me at all. I don't know what that means, but I did get the part."
His revealing quote: "'Pretty boy' isn't a title that would offend me - it's just not something I'd want to be. I wasn't the best-dressed kid who ever walked into a WB show. I've had daily fights with [the costume designer], like, 'I don't want to wear tight T-shirts.'"
