We live in Roberts Creek in the Gumboot nation on the Sunshine Coast

Bobbie was born in Lethbridge, Alberta and then moved with the family to Welcome! Click this image to get details on the nine City of Lethbridge website sections.Montreal and Oakridge. The foothills in Alberta are a very nice part of Canada and we went there a couple of times. Bobbies Brother Michael lives in Calgary and we love to visit them and go to all the fancy swimming pools and Malls there.

She and her four brother had lots of fun playing in the bush will dad was working at the Bank of Montreal headquarter then. Elizabeth was raising the family of 7 and working in the Botany dept of the University as a botanist!! When the bank moved to Toronto her Dad followed. Clemens was Born in Wuppertal, West Germany and studied in Bonn and Berlin. Now, Wuppertal means the valley of the river Wupper but it was never my dream spot in these world. Big city live and Factories are abound in Wuppertal but it is mostly known for the Schwebebahn (German for upside down suspension rail car).

 

I tried to visit other countries as much as possibly and my family also lived for quite a while in the Black Forest in southern Germany. Actually I think I would call it rather my hometown than were I was born. My mother lives there and has a little watercolor studio. She is an artist as my father was too. Both to taught university and colleges.

 

 

 

 

 

Burg Mauel

Is the name of an old chalet in Germany and is a Hotel and Restaurant today, but is not related to our Family. The name Mauel is of French or German origin and is very rare.  We started in Canada in Maple Ridge BC in 1989 after our work stay in Brazil and lived there on and off. Then after coming back from Mauritania in 1995 we moved to Whistler Resort in the snow.  Figuring out that is was way to cold for us we moved two years ago from Whistler to Roberts Creek on the Sunshine Coast.

 

 

Burg Mauel built 1577 in the ‘Bergisches Land’ 35km from Koeln
