Mission Statement
The mission of Electrical Consulting Engineers, Inc. is to provide the
highest quality services to municipal, member-owned, and
privately-owned electric utilities, and to do this more effectively and
efficiently than our competitors.

History
Electrical Consulting Engineers was incorporated in
1968, and licensed in North Carolina to practice as consultants in the
field of electrical engineering. Since its inception, the company
has participated in consulting engineering services with electric
utilities, primarily Rural Utility Service Cooperatives. At that
time, the staff consisted of two Professional Engineers, one
Engineer-in-Training, and one draftsman, who collectively serviced five
Cooperatives.
As of December 2001, ECE is a company of seventeen
employees, including an engineering staff of eight
with supporting personnel. The employees currently own 60% of the
company. We presently perform services for
seventeen RUS Cooperatives and are licensed in North Carolina, South
Carolina, and Virginia.
