Paris, London, and Normandy

Gettin' on the plane to Cincinatti where we picked up the plane to Paris...

Elise and I hanging out of our room windows at La Motte Piquet...our hotel in Paris...

The first area we visited was Monmartre...

where we saw Sacre Coeur...

...Place du Tertre...

...AND THE MOULIN ROUGE!

the next day we went to the Louvre...

and saw the big glass pyramid...

That eveing we walked back to the hotel and passed the Eiffel Tower just as it was being lit up...

The next morning we got in line early to make sure we got up it...

That afternoon we went to Notre Dame...

...and ate bread and cheese while we fed the birds in the garden near the cathedral...

The next day we rented a car and drove to Normandy stopping along the way to eat cheese and bread in the garden near some other cathedral...

our bed and breakfast...

we went to Omaha Beach and visited the American cemetary there...

after several relaxing days we set off back to Paris but first we stopped at Mont St. Michel...

mmm...cider!

one last shot in front of the bed and breakfast before we left...

back in Paris we picked up the Eurostar and after a quick train ride through the chunnel....we were in London!

Mom really wanted to go up the London Eye...

...so we did...

and got some neat pictures.

we went to the Tower of London

and managed to find Abbey Road before we went back to paris to catch our flight home...
