Seann William Scott grew up in Cottage Grove a mid-size Minnesota town of 33,000. He was the seventh child for his father, a factory worker, and mother, a homemaker. "My mom and dad were both married before and had three kids each. Then they had me. It was a lot like the Brady Bunch." But, being the youngest of seven had its benefits. "I was ultra spoiled," he confesses. Seann had stars in his eyes during high school. He took an accelerated schedule to allow him to graduate early (in 1996) from Park High School, hop in a car, and move straight to Los Angeles. "I was really naive," he says looking back. Stardom didn't come immediately thought. Auditions aplenty but roles afew followed. Most notably, Mr. Scott auditioned for Baywatch. He was turned down. But he wasn't turned away for all the roles, but none were star making vehicles. His first big movie role was in Born in Exile, a movie of the week costarring Mark Paul Gossier (Zach from Saved By the Bell). And finally he hit. American Pie offered him a role he couldn't refuse. Although he swears his character couldn't be further from his true self, he played the role of the jerk-jock to a 't'. He helped create one of the biggest movies of the year, and his career was off. His first starring role was in "Dude, Where's My Car" with Ashton Kutcher, a film that was adequately received by critics and well received by audiences.
