New Short Story!
Hey all! Got a new short story up under Space Reader, Various Stories. It's called "Can I Be Sad, Too?" It is, as the little blurb at the top of its page says, hopefully the beginning of a little writing project exercise I'd like to do. For this project, I take one line of dialogue pulled from pretty much anywhere, take it out of context, and write a complete short story for it, probably no less than one page in length. The story can be of any genre, mood, or meaning, just so long as it doesn't relate to the original context of the line of dialogue. Anywho, this is the first of those, hopefully it turned out well. I like it, anyway. And, as you'll see if you read the blip before the story, the line for this short was "Can I Be Sad, Too?" So go read and have at it!
