Well, I am a happy man today. I finally got the courage up to ask Jamie out and she said yes. Which I know that she would cause of the way that we have be acting around each other all week. Like we would walk down the hall ways hand in hand, I would also some what walk her to her classes and give her hugs when we part.
Jamie asked me if I wanted to come over last Sunday. Of course I said yes. She cleaned her house for me of all the people in the world. I mean I am not the type of person that is pick about if someone's house isn't clean. But oh well, I don't care, I went over to her house about 3:00 p.m. I was happy that I got to see her, anyways, I met Mommy Weinberg and seen Mitchell first. Then her dad came in later and I met him. I hate to say it, but at first I was intimidated by him. I mean he is a big guy, he is about 5" or 6" taller than me. He looked like he could break me in half if he wanted to. But I got to know him a little more and found out that he is a nice guy, with a great sense of humor. Actually the whole family has a great sense of humor. Jamie's mom and dad kind of remind me of teemagers in a way. Mitchell, he was a whole other story, he is more of an attention getter. He did many things to get attention, like trying to hit me with a piece of string, and some other stuff. O-well, Mommy Weinberg and Mitchell left, and so did her dad. We were left alone in her house. I know what you are probably thinking, well at least you NICK!!! That I was trying to put a move on her or make out. But no that is not how Jamie and my relationship is, it is a slow relationship. Plus the only thing that I was really thinking about doing was holding her hand, it that is the "God" honest truth. To get back to what happened, Jamie and I watched True Lies. She didn't know that it was a movie that was in the theaters. I was cute how innocent she was.
Ok, then after a while Jamie's family came back. They asked me if I wanted to go out to dinner and I kind of hasitated about that. To skip forward, we went to Tin Alley, were Mommy Weinberg and I got to know each other a little more. She asked me about what prom, S.O.S., and some other thing. Her dad was kind of silent compared to everyone else. Maybe he talked alot but who knows Mitchell was talking loud enough that no one could hear, I am sort of joking about that. Oh to admitted it I kind of like the little bugger. He reminds me of a dog or something.
Well, when we got back from dinner Jamie and I sat down on the couch and watched Clear and Present Danger with her parents. I was kind of distracted by Jamie's beauty. I know she finds it annoying when I stare at her but I just can't get enough of her. To me she is one of the most beautiful girls. About 15 minutes in to the movie we started holding hands and I was probably one of the happiest guys in the world at that moment.
Don't hold Mitchell against us.
