Our race for 8th Wonder of The World

What are the modern wonders of the World?

In order to understand what it takes to "run" for such a title you must identify the similarities and differences among the current holders.

  • First, the Empire State Building.

    Seems to be big and long. (yep, we got that covered)

  • Second, the Itaipú Dam.

    Now we know you have no idea what this is so I have been kind enough to show you...

    As you can see it is a giant dam. (We have been referenced with the word "DAM" before, so 2 for us.)

  • Thirdly, The CN Tower.

    Once again we have provided you un-intelligent bastards with a picture and easy to understand words.

    It is a fancy radio wave transmission tower. (yep, it's big and long too. check that one for us.)

  • Fourth on the list is the The Panama Canal.

    It is a giant ditch, it doesn't count.

  • Taking the fifth spot is the famous Channel Tunnel (just cause you haven't heard of it doesn't mean it's not famous).

    Yet another picture for you assholes.

    This was featured in that Jet Li movie "Kiss of the Dragon" and I own that movie so yet another point for us.

  • Sixth is taken by the The North Sea Protection Works.

    I just choose not to insult you any more and just post pictures of the ones that you smug Americans don't know of.

    It is a Dutch wall to protect their agriculture from the water. Why do we get a point for this one? well, a dam's other name is "dike" and we have seen many of those. Hah, faced you didn't I?

  • And we all know what the seventh is...The golden gate bridge. What do we have in common with this? I will be more than happy to tell you...Nothing.

    So out of all of the ones that can be counted (all but the giant ditch) we have scored a remarkable 5 out of 6 points. I think that we are qualified to take the title of the eighth wonder of the world.

    Who is our competition?

    The only one was China from WWF, and she quit.(would you really want a quiter to take that title?)
