Since I (the Mad Rabbit) have taken over as Emperor after the downfall of Ali, I thought it best for all you minions to know the dangers that lurk within the Beef Curtains of MadLand. There are the basic species of course... midgets, humans, and dogs, but when you look past the normal, you see the true inhabitants of MadLand, the ones that have been there from the beginning, and most being evil, vile beasts that any being wouldn't dare mess with. So for all you interested in finding out what dangers come with handing your soul to the Lard, read on....

Land Beasts

Red Backed White Rat

(click for larger view)

Length: 2'6" (to end of tail)

Found: Poorer civilian areas, farms.

Defense: Strong Venom contained in red spikes on the rodents back. Possibly fatal if not treated within 2 - 3 hours.

Offense: Defending yourself from these mammals is not difficult, they are only dangerous if touched or while protecting their young, in which case they curl into a ball and role as fast as they can in your direction.

Other: These large rodents are quite common in smaller areas of MadLand, they stick to farms where they have access to fields so their young are not in danger of trespassers. They have been known to be tamed when kept from birth, de-venomising is a must in that case.

Red Backed Antelope

(click for larger view)

Length: (same as average antelope)

Found: Outskirts, forest areas. Very uncommonly found in suburban areas.

Defense: The Animals are extremely dangerous even when unprovoked. The four red horns (each containing 50% weaker venom than that of its rodent counterpart) are mostly for show, but still quite dangerous. Its antlers on the other hand seem to be in a very unstable position, but are actually quite strong and are used to push and shove foes into places where it can then decide what to do with its catch. These animals are carnivores.

Offense: The only offense you have against these creatures (in the event you are unarmed) is your legs. Run! that's all I can say. They are not the smartest of animals so it is quite easy to outrun them, although they are faster than you, they cant turn around with a great deal of speed.

Other: These are often hunted for food and there coats.

Gee Tortoise

Length: Varies depending on species of tortoise/turtle.

Found: Found on the beaches and forest areas close to water, very uncommon for them to travel further than 2km from the waters edge.

Defense: They are very tame creatures. The only time they will use there defense is while protecting eggs, or when the Clive Anderson Giraffe is near by. There defense is a very loud high pitched scream. If you are close enough to them when they are defensive, they could seriously damage your ears, and possibly deafen you.

Offense: If you are a Clive Anderson Giraffe, you have no defense, you should just try and be less cheeky. For everyone else, best to stay away from them when they have eggs.

Other: These hideous creatures are the result of an mutation experiment performed by three brothers, Maurice, Robin and Barry Gibb, all scientists in the MGRD (MadLand Government Research Department). During an experimentation trying to enlarge normal turtles and tortoises using humans, the Gibb brothers accidentally got infected by the mutant virus they had created. As a result they were locked in quarantine with the turtles they had infected. After less than a week they have began to take on each others characteristics. Within two months, the Gibb brothers had grown shells and taken on almost all the ways of the turtles/tortoises. The turtles had grown more human like features, like voices and facial looks. It seemed that the humans were more vulnerable to change than the amphibians. After the full mutation had taken place, it was decided it was best to destroy them. But as the soldiers tried, they used there defense, and the soldiers were defended and unable to perform their duties. The mutants escaped unharmed, and have multiplied enormously. It is thought that there are approximately 15000 Gee Tortoises within the gates of MadLand.

Raffe Dragon

(click for larger view)

Length: 7m with 10m wingspan (approx.)

Found: Mostly in the high grassy mountain areas of MadLand, cliffs and forest areas. Endangered species.

Defense: These giant beasts are by far the more dangerous of MadLand, thankfully they mostly stick to their own territory. No-one has ever ventured to the Raffe Mountains and returned safely. These Dragons cant do much damage up close, but you wouldn't be able to get close enough to hurt them anyway. They have a great sense of smell, and can detect the presence of any land creature within a miles distance. They have great vision also, they see through heat, detecting movement at very long distances. There defense, simply, is fire. They breath fire from above, burning there victims to death. Surprisingly, these extremely territorial animals, are vegetarians. They do however eat the torso's of the ones they kill, only to dispose of meat which may attract more dangers to there habitat.

Offense: Stay well away, you don't have a hope in hell of survival.

Other: The only thing these dragons will NOT attack, is myself. They answer only to the Rabbit. As does every other inhabitant of MadLand. And rightly so....

Moasp

(click for larger view)

Length: 9 inches and a 14 inch wingspan.

Found: Mostly found in large wooded areas, nesting in trees and large bushes. Not found in BBW. There bushes are too big.

Defense: A painful sting if you provoke it enough. Luckily these larger variations on wasps have more intelligence, so they know when you are threatening them and when you aren't. Also they will first try to push you away from them using the antlers.

Offense: Don't provoke them, they are relatively harmless unless you go too close to their nests. Best thing if in real danger, use a shotgun or a large bat. They are very hard to kill with your basic newspaper.

Other: They look alot more threatening than they really are.

Clive Anderson Giraffe

Height: 4ft with very short neck.

Found: Keeps top its self out in the forests and beaches.

Defense: Even when unprovoked, this short stumpy species will be mean, coming out with asinine comments about anything it wants.

Offense: Walk away from it leaving it looking sheepish.

Other: known enemy of the Gee Tortoise.

Bulb Crawlers

(click for larger view)

Height: 4 inches max. Legs protrude from body though.

Found: These were my defense against the late Lord Ali. These originated from the home of Gary Coleman, Midget King of MadLand. Now only found in King Gary's home and in my lair.

Defense: Blinding light and exploding bulb. Very useful for suicide missions.

Offense: undisclosed.

Other: These are not real animals and actually machines. But make great use of AI. (Artificial intelligence)

Gummi Bears

(click for larger view)

Height: Unknown

Found: Unknown

Defense: Unknown

Offense: Unknown

Other: The Gummi Bears, originating from GummiGlen, have been spotted quite a few times all over MadLand. Nobody has ever captures one or seen one long enough to study it, so very little is known about them. If you ever spot a Gummi Bear, phone the authorities immediately.

Pigmonker

(click for larger view)

Height: 4ft approx. 9ft in length.

Found: Mountain areas.

Defense: Has one hell of a bite, and very sharp claws that can knock a man to the ground with one strike. Also has horns it uses like a bull would.

Offense: Run! Or if you have a weapon of any kind, shoot! Throw! Swing! Strike! Whatever!

Other: These large beasts, originally from the planet Quadar, came to our lands in 1906, and instantly there power was noted. These animals will eat almost anything, and wont hesitate in attack if it feels threatened.
