Assembly Technology Engineer - 3066

Job Description:

  • Responsible for forward-alignment of companies Printed Circuit Assembly Technology.
  • Develop and drive companies new assembly technology requirements with company Contract Manufacturers partners.
  • Work with cross-functional teams on tactical assembly related production issues, as a point of escalation, to properly assess and mitigate reliability issues.
  • Partner with engineering on next generation design requirements and proactively develop suppliers and processes to meet future technology needs.

Skills Required:

  • Extensive knowledge of board assembly process, printed circuit boards, and quality control.
  • Extensive assembly process experience including failure analysis tools and failure analysis best practices. Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills and proven ability to work in a cross-functional team based environment is mandatory.

Education:

  • Typically requires BS (IE, EE, ME, MatE) or equivalent experience plus 10+ years relevant manufacturing experience.
  • Professional membership and /or industry consortia participation in NEMI, IPC, ECTC, SMTA, etc is a big plus.
