System Administrator

Our client is a Fortune 50 Global leader in networking for the Internet.

Responsibilities :

• The development, maintenance and implementation of small to large cross-functional systems with high complexity and Global high-visibility.
• Perform analysis and application design work as well as architectural work for large systems.
• Assists with tool and software package selection.

Impact: High impact to technology and business teams. Usually participating in or leading complex technical projects.

Problem Solving: Solves complex, cross-functional issues. Excellent analytical skills for solving technical issues.

Globalisation: This is a Global role and the applicant must be prepared to work with multiple timezones and cultures.

Requirements:

Technical Knowledge, Skills and Expertise

• Essential to have: Windows Server (4-5yrs exp) (pref MCSE), Exchange 5.5 / 2000 / 2003 skills (Advanced Skill Level), Windows Active directory, Basic Internetworking knowledge (pref CCNA or equivalent)
• Great advantage to have SAN experience and knowledge of concepts and Linux / Unix Skill sets and experience

• Must be BS/CS or equivalent plus at least 4 years related technical experience.
• Fluent in both English and Mandarin speaking and written.

Core Competencies:

• Strong understanding of all current technologies and good understanding of emerging technologies.
• Strong understanding of business impact of technology.
