Business Analysis Manager
REPORT TO: Divisional Controller
Responsibilities:
- Conduct market study for competitive landscape and market growth projection , and to analyze market business performance by sales revenue, volume, pricing, margin, articles segment and distribution channel.
- Assist Divisional Controller in preparing sales budget and forecast
- To assist in preparing pre-defined management sales performance report and variance analysis
- Define key sales performance indices, monitor and take the lead in working with respective markets to seek continuous improvements in sales, expenses and inventory level within the Regions
- Assist Divisional Controller to consolidate and analyze weekly/monthly reports received from Country Managers
- Assist Divisional Controller in driving Strategic Business Planning and perform Market Research, Business Appraisal and Feasibility Study within the Regions
- Identify emerging trends in chemical markets in Asia to highlight growth opportunities for the Company
- Assess new business ventures by providing analytical support for proposed initiatives including market sizing, pricing, costing, capability requirements and capital needs
- Study and analyze business flow and process to improve the working efficiency and effectiveness of the operation
- Analyze the price enquiry from markets and perform the margin analysis to monitor the Divisional profit .
Qualifications & Requirements:
Tertiary education with a minimum of five years of relevant work experience in business planning /analysis.
Working experience in chemical or industrial products based background is an added advantage with the following requirements:
- MUST have the professional accounting background + degree with a minimum of five years of relevant work experience in business planning /analysis.
- Experience in chemical or industrial products based background is an ESSENTIAL with the following requirements:
- Industrial product analysis, GP analysis, pricing analysis.
- Multicurrency knowledge with multi-environment: such as RMB, USD, Euro, JPY, THA, AUD etc..
- Good data driven judgment, analytical and problem solving techniques;
- Effective English language communications skills both written and verbal. Ability in Mandarin a great plus;
- Able to organize and analyze data accurately, effectively and independently;
- Strong self-initiative and highly responsive to challenges, excellent follow-through and focus attention on details. Possess strong logical thinking ability and proven team player;
- Ability to work under pressure and with ambition to develop a sound career in the chemical industry. Must have prior regional work experience and proven ability in dealing with multi-cultural environment.
