Buttercream Frosting
2 sticks salted butter, softened to room temperature
2 tbsp milk
1 tsp vanilla
4 cups powdered sugar
Corn syrup
Put butter, milk, and vanilla in bowl. Mix on low speed until it just starts to come together (about a minute.) Scrape sides of bowl. Increase speed and been on medium low for about another minute. Increase speed to medium high and beat for about another minute. When creamy, add powdered sugar. Beat on low speed until sugar is just incorporated. Scrape down sides of bowl and increase speed to medium. Beat until smooth. If needed to thin consistency for spreadability, add corn syrup a tablespoon at a time.
