Never in my wildest dreams did I think the American people could be so stupid. What happened? I mean, didn’t anybody see what happened the last four years? George W. Bush repeatedly proved that he’s a brain dead idiot. He can’t even speak English! Every single decision he’s made has been completely backwards and damaging to the ideals of America. So what do the American people do? They reelect the bastard to another term!

I hope other Americans can sleep at night knowing we have a president who shows a tendency for a seven minute delay when informed of an attack against the homeland. You can see the video for yourself! It’s in that moment on Sept. 11th, when Bush is reading “My Little Goat” (and mispronouncing or stumbling over half the words I imagine) that the truth of what he is comes stumbling to the surface. The advisor tells him of the attack and Bush just freezes up. He looks scared, terrified, completely uncertain. Folks...THESE ARE NOT THE CHARACTERISTICS OF A COMPETENT LEADER IN A CRISIS SITUATION! For a moment there, the truth of what he is flashes upon his face. He’s a rich little bitch whose had everything handed to him on a silver platter. He’s never faced one difficult moment in all his life, and thus, he is not prepared to handle any intense situation. He’s a daddy’s boy, a spoiled brat, a retarded coward whose never had to work a day in his life. For a brief second there, he looks tempted to cry and beg that he be let off the hook from his responsibility. For a brief second, he looks like he accepts what he is and it disgusts him.

But the Sept. 11th attack turned out to be the best thing that could have happened for W. Before the attack, he didn’t seem to know what to do with his time. But afterwards, he was able to strut around like a rooster and send off angry threats at an invisible enemy. This was especially cowardly on his part because this is an enemy who is not likely to ever strike back.

Wake up America! Terrorism is not a threat! I’ve been living overseas for the entirety of the Bush presidency, and I’ve never encountered a single problem. I’ve flown on every Sept. 11th since the fatal one on 2001 and nothing has ever happened. Stop being afraid damn it! Your fear is robbing you of your reason! And even if there was a threat, fear would not be an appropriate response! Be brave, you’re Americans aren’t you, don’t we have a tradition of bravery?

Bush continues to strut around like a cowboy and send empty threats at the “Faceless Coward” who will never strike back, and American foolishly eats it up. Worse, this whole “sudden purpose” of Bush seems to be evolving. He forgets that he’s getting lucky and that his stupid comments are not provoking any response, and he’s starting to think he needs to expand. Everything about his demeanor and his comments implies that he wants to take this “war on terror” and turn it into an ideological “war on anything that’s not Christianity.”

I mean, if you want to believe that God talks directly to you, that’s all fine and dandy. But if you’re making decisions that affect millions of other people, it’d be pretty nice if you’d rely instead on the scientific method. I think that’s only courtesy. I don’t want to follow some raging lunatic’s idiotic, misplaced belief that the voices in his/her head are coming from some higher authority! When has that EVER worked out for anybody! I mean look at the damn facts! Science saves lives and God KILLS! Not to mention the fact that just about everybody who claims to listen directly to God is a hypocrite. I mean, when they develop prostate cancer do they go into a medical doctor or do they ask God to heal them? Do they send their kids to school or do they just assume that God will start talking directly to them to? When they start their car, do they ask God to do it or do they turn the key? In fact, the lack of faith that most supposedly God-fearing people show on a daily basis is completely staggering. Listening to God doesn’t work! Quit pretending that God is telling you to go out and kill people.

Four more damn years of President Dipshit. Four more years of people of my generation dying in a stupid, needless, unnecessary war so that rich old assholes can pour more money into the coffers of their oil companies. Four more years of accruing a national debt that I or my children are going to have to pay off. Four more years of lost jobs. Four more years of the continuing trend to separate the people of America into a small group of rich slaveholders, and a large group of slaves. Slaves robbed of education, and forced into zero thought, zero creativity occupations that make zombies out of them.

All this despite the overwhelming evidence that there was fraud at the first election. My belief isn’t that Florida cleaned up its act, but that Florida just figured out a way to rig the election decisively. Do you think your vote counts? I don’t. I think that’s an absolute farce. I think the whole democratic process has been taken out of the hands of the people and put into the hands of the slave-owners. They’re all a bunch of dirty, filthy cheaters, but contrary to the popular phrase, they are gaining a profit from their illicit acts. The truth is, cheaters do win, in the short term. They get all the luxury, all the wealth, all the accolades. But the thing they miss out on is that inner knowledge that they have earned what they have achieved, and they miss out on that deeply rooted sense of self-confidence that tells them that they are ready for anything. That’s what was lacking in the face of George W. Bush in that Sept. 11th video. And sooner or later, history will remember Bush as a lame duck idiot and an enemy to the progress of humanity.

I hate the direction America is going. It’s so far away from the ideals that this nation was built on. According to the election results, the majority of the American people want it this way. I hate to break it to you, but this is the beginning of the end. When we lose our courage and run around like chickens with their heads cut off at the first sign of any danger, and give special powers to a moron who never does anything more than look inward to ensure that chaos still reigns, when we make choices like that, we are not worthy of the sacrifices made by our forefathers in times of war and in times of peace to build this great nation.

People talk about preserving their safety, as if the goal of life is to eliminate 100% of the risk at any given moment. Well, the truth is, that can never be achieved. Life is fragile, life is precious, and life is constantly on the verge of being taken away. At some point you’re going to have to learn to accept that the human race, despite all the glittery promises to the contrary, is not capable of guaranteeing anybody anything. We could maybe approximate 100% security in regards to one threat, but it would be at the expense of allowing 90% danger in another. Right now, the American people are afraid of terrorists, a threat that has killed approximately 5000 people in our 200+ year history. Why aren’t we afraid of suicide (30,000 deaths a year) or car accidents (80,000 deaths yearly)? If we were to spend the same resources on these as we did on the war on terror, we’d probably save a hundred thousand American lives. Not doing so is MURDER!!

But you see, it’s not about American lives, it’s about the theatre of terrorism, and the ideological war of an idiot religious boy who thinks he’s doing the work of God. All these wonderful, massive, incomprehensible resources that comprise the United States are being committed to this fool’s errand. For four more years, we’re going to have to watch the progress of humanity get flushed down the toilet. We’re going to have to watch hundreds of millions of dollars of human ingenuity wasted on a delusional man’s fantasy that he’s hearing the word of God. It’s a disgrace, and by the time it’s done, I think the number of lives that will have been needlessly sacrificed; sacrificed directly by war; sacrificed by misallocations of resources that allow hundreds of thousands to die; sacrificed by indifference to the constant suffering and starvation that SHOULD be our primary concern; once all these numbers are added up, the total number sacrificed will far exceed the holocaust.

But whatever, be afraid America. Piss on the constitution. Piss on liberty. Piss on everything. The only thing that matters to you is your own sense of security. Elect that idiot. Let him send your children to their deaths.

But know this, I’ll never respect you again. You’ll have to kill me before I betray my principles like you have. I still believe that it’s worth fighting for liberty, and the manifest destiny of the human race. You only think of yourselves, and in the end, that’s exactly who you betray.
