It’s all Fun And Games Until Children Get Raped

Well I was innocently perusing the news articles on yahoo when I came across some numbers regarding the recent epidemic of Catholic priests raping children. This information was hidden in the background as everything that speaks in contrast to the Catholic church inevitably is. It turns out that 4,500 priests have been accused and 10,600 children (now adults) have stepped forward to make their claims.

Those, my friends, are a couple of big numbers.

Is anybody else shaking with rage at this point?

The article I was reading, typical of incompetent American media reporting, did little more than throw those statistics out there. It did make one fleeting reference to the fact that the numbers were probably underestimates because of the fact that most rape victims, especially children, especially males, don’t come forward. But there was no extrapolation. Of course it is impossible to guess how many cases of child molestation there actually were, but the thing we know for certain is that it is a lot more than 10,600.

How many do you think come forward? One in three? One in ten? One in a hundred? One in a thousand? I wonder how many of the ones who did come forward were told to shut up and not say such things against such a respected member of the community?

Let’s be conservative and say that one in ten actually come forward. Now we’re looking at an epidemic in which 106,000 children were violated. Does this make the front pages? Do people really care? Sometimes I wonder if there would be a greater outcry if it had been predominantly girls that had been raped rather than boys. We’ve been growing up in the age of feminism for the past fifty years, an age where the suffering of men has been seen as just treatment for an oppressive gender. Fuck that shit.

But even apart from speculation over numbers, lets just think about these 4,500 sick twist priests who all deserve to die. For fifty years, these guys were free to do whatever grotesque crap that they wanted to, secure in the knowledge that the damn church would look the other way and protect them, secure in the knowledge that the people of the community would be more concerned with preserving their own souls than speaking out against this horrible atrocity. They raped however many children every year, and this is unpardonable. They destroyed these young lives forever. Directly, one shot, dead! But a crime that was nearly as bad and far more prevalent was the influence they had on the other students and children in their charge. What kind of trauma do you think it must have been to be in one of these guys’ classes? It doesn’t take more than one harsh word from a peer to severely cripple your development as a human being. These monsters obviously had no concern over how they affected the lives of these kids. You can’t have the child-molester short fuse in your brain and somehow manage to do good in your charge of bringing guidance to children. That would be like a doctor who was also a homocidal maniac. It doesn’t work. One more than cancels the other.

What I’m trying to say is that the epidemic doesn’t end with the number of rapes. Every single time one of these sick fucks came into contact with a child, damage was done. EVERY SINGLE FUCKING GOD DAMNED MOTHERFUCKING TIME!

And the church didn’t do anything.

And the people of the community didn’t do anything.

And the parents didn’t do anything.

When a 10 year old kid comes home with blood in his underwear, somebody fucking knows. God damn it, somebody sees that underwear. Somebody KNOWS!

How many children do you think 4,500 priests interact with over the course of 50 years? 100 a year, times 50 years. That’s 22 million 5 hundred thousand, and that’s a conservative estimate.

Are you going to sit there and tell me that maybe these priests weren’t a bad influence on all the kids they met? Are you going to tell me that there weren’t inappropriate touches going on that were, perhaps, subconsciously blocked? Priests brushing up against kids in the hallway? Are you going to defend child-molesters?

Now tell me this, how many kids do you think were violated because of the theory of evolution that Christians are always trying to have banned? How many kids were violated by the movie “Fight Club” that the Christians said was too violent even though it doesn’t have a hundredth of the gore of Gibson‘s “The Passion.”

This whole tragedy has claimed more victims than the holocaust, yet still isn’t considered with the appropriate level of shock and horror. I went to a chat room lately and suggested that the Christian community should start pressuring Gibson to donate the proceeds from “The Passion” to families who had suffered from Priest rape. Nobody even answered me. They keep acting like I am some kind of troublemaker.

Well if a troublemaker is somebody who stands in the way of a child getting raped...Then that’s what I am!

It all comes out of a screwed up belief system that is withering and dying in our modern world. Religion is the retarted step-child of humanity and we no longer need to hold it’s lumbering, wildly thrashing hand. It’s time to move on to a system of morality based on scientific reasoning, one where there are consequences if people behave badly and are forced to pay restitution and change.

Catholic priests rape children. It has to end.

The End

Home Sweet Home
