Saying goodbye

Three of Leonard `Roy' Parjohn's children are seen paying their last respects to their father at a ceremony held at his Ketley Street home yesterday. The man was one of three persons who died after a bandit attack on his business place and another next door to him on Wednesday. The bandits robbed the man of a large amount of cash and jewellery before shooting him dead as he lay next to his wife on the bedroom floor. In this photograph the man's son, Steven, and two daughters, Nicole and Melissa are seen paying their respects while their grieving mother Nandanie, sitting at left, looks on. Missing from the photograph is three-year-old Angelena. Parjohn was cremated according to Hindu rites at Good Hope, East Coast Demerara.
