Amtgard is a non-profit organization, open to
anyone regardless of race, religion, or nationality. We are dedicated
to the study and reinactment of historic and fantastic medieval life.
There is no pay for play policy, you don't have to pay anything to join
in. We are a Live Action Role Play (larp) game, all of the action is real.
Our weapons are foam padded versions of the originals, our combat is generally safe.
In addition to combat, Amtgard offers a wide variety of arts and sciences. These include the crafts of garb and accessories making, practical battle
field construction like weapon and armor making, as well as heraldry.
Anyone age 14 or greater may join (those require parental and
Monarch approval to partake).
