Sokka and his younger sister, Katara, were the ones who had discovered the Avatar inside a giant iceberg. Katara had used Sokka's club to break the ice and free the young Avatar named Aang. Sokka didn't exactly take to Aang at first and he certainly didn't trust him. Since Aang's flying bisson, Appa, was the only way for them to get back to his village, he allowed them to stay. It was after the Fire Nation tried to take Aang away when Sokka finally gave in and admitted that he was wrong to not trust him. He chased after the Fire Nation ship and rescued the Avatar along with the help of Katara. Since that day, Sokka and Katara have never left Aang's side. They are sort of like his protectors. Sokka has a slightly muscular form. He is built like other boys of his age. His head is shaved on both sides but he allows the hair on the center of head to grow. He ties that hair back into a tight and short pony tail. He had darker skin and darker blue eyes than that of his sister. He wears typical Water Tribe clothes. The colors of his clothes are blue, black, and white. He dresses in two layers. He sheds the thicker layer when the weather takes a turn for the warmer. The thinner layer is light and flexible. His main weapon is a boomerang. It is blue and white in color and seems relatively light. It has two holes in the head which make it faster. Although it looks to be made of metal, I think it is made of wood because then it would be lighter and faster. His other weapon is a club. The head of it is a round, blue rock. The rock is placed on the handle which is blue and white in color and seems to be made of wood. His third weapon is a large dagger with teeth on the top of it. It has a normal size handle that is wrapped in cloth. The teeth on it look to be molars that are probably from a seal or walrus. Even though he is a part of a Water Tribe he does not know any Waterbending. Sokka has a large ego which is kept in check by Katara. He doesn't like to be shown up and especially not by a girl. He likes to trust his instincts which get him into trouble but also get him out of it. His main means of transportation is on Appa. His enemy is the Fire Nation in general. He holds a grudge against them because they killed his mother. He also fights them to protect Aang and Katara.
