DBAF takes place around 120 years after the Freeza Saga. At this time Goku is off going from planet to planet training and he comes across one planet which looks absolutely beautiful, he goes onto this planet for training and finds that all the people there look perfect, and also the gravity is 1000 times that of earths so he figures its ideal for training for a little while. He also meets this stunningly beautiful woman there who try's to seduce goku however goku resists because of his heart belonging to Chi-chi, she senses this but makes love to him in his dreams. Shortly after Goku leaves the planet and as he leaves, the planet turns into silver and it disappears totally as well as everyone who inhabited it! Since the woman was a god and created a perfect illusion for goku she also sensed how powerful he was, she wanted to have his baby and create the ultimate being. Anyway around 120 years later she gives birth to a child named Xicer who is naturally born as a super saiya-jin 5 and is 1 year old, since he is half god and half saiya-jin he is the ultimate being however he is pretty much useless as he needs to be trained by someone great, his father obviously, Goku, so he goes off in search of his real father to be trained by him and become the greatest warrior in the universe from which his mother wants him to be.

300 years ago goku ,gohan died but where considered ultimate ancestors because of there power levels, goten was still live and well cause him and trunks where equal strength and granted eternal life from dendaia. They had all seven dragonballs plus the alfa ball. for a while and soon decided to wish back Goku, Gohan Vegeta Andriod 16 And Shella(trunks daughter) they do that but then a dude called boronks comes(ally like vegeta) and is angry he didn't get his wish to be the strongest ever! So then he fights goku and goku gets pounded and was on the verge of dieing again but gotten level 5 gets angry(as he does) and fuses with goten level 5 and creates Gotenks(the dude with red hair) level 5 and takes on boronks but also gets a pounding but eventully get the fusion earrings from dendai and fuses also with gohan level 5 (the new created airings allows up to 3 fuses!) and creates hantenks-the ultimate version and gives boronks a pounding, then they take the airings off and calm down the talk to boronks and then eventually decide to become allies (boronks is still pretty dodgey!, like vegeta).

Goku is the main character of the dragonball series. Goku was sent to earth as a baby to destroy the planet. But he hits his head as a baby and forgot everything he was supposed to do. Instead he becomes a pure good person who protects the planet earth and the universe from evil. He is a tremendous fighter and has the most ability of any of the z warriors. But he has been known to be soft sometimes.(He almost let freeza get away). He was able to transform into all the SSJ transformations. He marries chi chi, daughter of the Ox king and they have two sons Gohan and Goten.

The prince of the saiyen planet Vegeta, he is one of the most powerful fighters in the dragonball series. At first he was one of freeza's henchmen when he was a very young boy. He came to planet earth so he can use the dragonballs and wish for immortality. But the z fighters would not let him do so and they fought and vegeta was not sucessful. Then he tried to use nameks dragonballs to wish for immortality but frieza was there and he joined sides with Krillen, Gohan, and Goku. But basically Vegeta lived for one thing and one thing only; to be more powerful than Goku. He has an obsession for getting more powerful than he really is. He was able to be more powerful than Goku several times, but Goku would always find ways to be one step ahead of Vegeta, that always made him angry.
Name: Chibi Trunks
Race: Saiyan/Human
Abilties: Fly, Burning attack, finish buster, fusion, Kamehameha,
Masenko, Renzoku energy dan, zanzoken
Chibi Trunks, not to be confused with Future Trunks, was born in a different timeline, when Goku was alive after he got his heart medicine. Chibi Trunks looks exactly like Future Trunks(Obviously!) but he was able to go Super saiyan at age 8 and Future Trunks went super saiya-jin at 13. But despite that he wont be as powerful as Future Trunks since he is not committed to fighting as much as him. He is close friends with Goten and they both fool around, but he is still a good young fighter.
Name: Radditz
Race: Saiyan
Abilities: Fly, Zanzoken,
Raditz is the brother of Goku and son of Bardock. He was sent to earth and find out why Goku has not destroyed all living beings on earth. He finds out that Goku had forgotten his mission and is pure good. He kidnaps Gohan and fights Goku and Picollo and is deafeated.
Name: Brolli
Race: Saiyan
Abilities: Bio Ekisyushyu Kyodai Ka, Bukujutsu, Ki Barrier, SSJ, USSJ, Zanzoken
This powerful saiyan appeared only in movies 8, 10, and 11. Brolli is the original super saiyan. Even as a baby Brolli was very powerful, having a power level of 25,000 or so. As a baby though, Brolli has developed an big hatred for Goku because he and Goku were cribmates and Goku was contstantly crying making Brolli develop this anger. When Planet Vegeta was destroyed it was Brolli's power that kept him and his father alive. Years later, as Brolli turned into an adult, his father ordered him to terrorize the universe. But Brolli's father asks the z fighters to find the reason for his rage. Brolli is defeated by Goku when they battle, he comes back in movie 10 and 11 where he is defeated again.
