RULES/EVENTS
Now,it goes without saying that not everything goes your way,and people will inevitably have problems with particular incidents in the game.I have much experience with the first two editions of Advanced Dungeons and Dragons,so these incidents should be minimal in frequency.In the event that such an incident occurs,the person feeling slighted will NOT waste time in game complaining,but express his concern afterwards,or keep it very brief if it is something they consider of utmost importance.I will not waste other's time with petty arguments however,as DM,the players entrust me with a referee role.All calls are final
ROLE PLAYING
This is the big one folks,role-playing.Firstly,everyone must remember that this is a game.We are all here to have fun,and if you are not having fun,then leaving the campaign is best for all.I will not brook OOC drama,nor disruptive players.
Secondly,my style is a mixture of elements that has worked well for players in past tabletop campaigns.I approach DMing as if I were conceptualizing a novel.I have plots,climaxes,and all sorts of twists,yet the meat of the story is provided by the players.
Thirdly,though I do 'plan' things,my campaign is open to the wants,and desires,of the players.I do not herd parties to accomplish goals.I will put 'hooks' into the game,and the players decide whether they take them or not.In short,it is not my job to tell the party what to do,it is their job to tell me what they want to do,and how they will go about it.I merely apply logical consequence,good or ill,to character actions.
PUNCTUALITY/ATTENDANCE
I have had problems with these issues in the past,so I feel they need to be addressed.I understand that life happens,and sometimes a session can not be made by people.That is fine,send me a message ICQ if possible.However,continued absence,or habitual tardiness(I do not mean 15 minutes late here),will end in the player being ejected from the camp,in favour of one who will show up on time.
