The D-2s are the digivices for the Digidestined. They have two main functions and one extra one.
The two main functions are called digital and decode. The digital function allows the digimon to digivolve while the decode function lets them work with each other or Sawyer's laptop computer.
The Special Function
The best part of the D-2s is that they each have a speciafunction that only they can use. here is a list of the D-2s and their special functions.
Clair's D-2 has the ability to send out a beam of light like a flashlight.
Sidney's D-2 can function as a D-terminal.
Sawyer's D-2 can create a holgraphic map. The map shows the positions of all of the digidestined.
Xochitl uses her D-2 to tell the difference between Digi-Rogues and Digi-Slaves.
Kichiro's D-2 tells the position of the Digi-Extremes.
Akiva's D-2 displays the digital coding of items in the digital world which helps Sawyer.
Graham's D-2 is capable of storing data and transferring it to Sawyer's laptop.
Sarai's D-2 locates digimon if they get lost.
Catrine's D-2 lets her copy attacks from one digimon to another.
Lucas's D-2 lets him record moments in time.
