I have held many different jobs and positions, these qualifications are:
-Coach for the neighborhood swim team for five years, and dealt with over 200 children and their parents. This experience makes on more organized and helps deal with people, especially elders.
-Bused at Outback Steakhouse. This work experience helped me gain experience on hands on work. It was not a glamorous position, but it taught discipline and a good days work.
- Was part of the student government association at my high school. In this I was head of many committees such as homecoming and pep rally's. This was instrumental in teaching me how to lead, but also how to work as a team.
- Went to elementary schools to teach anti-smoking. I felt this was crucial in teaching me to develop ideas and try to better reach an audience.
- Volunteering jobs at the church and for Make A Wish foundation. I would mow the church lawn and volunteer and kids triathlons. I feel this helped me realize that I need to give back to the community and not just myself.
- Currently at James Madison University, I am working towards a degree in Business Management. This will prepare me for my first job and the big leap into the business world.
Though out school and extra-curricular activities, I have achieved many accomplishments:
- Was inducted into the honor society of my high school. I was in this program three out of the four years I attended
- Was given three letters in high school. These included swimming, academics, and cross country. I enjoy new challenges and trying different activities.
- Was recognized in the local paper for my accomplishments in swimming and for helping a broken down limo on its way to a wedding. One of the more enjoyable things.
-Went to States in swimming and with my teammates was awarded an All American honorable mention for our relay. I also went to states three out of the four years I attended.
-Senior year of high school i was awarded the academic athlete award. This award is given to one person in every sport who exemplifies a true student athlete.
