“Ok is every one ready” Calls Kim Lusewing, Guardian of the Derraka dragons and the woman in charge of the evacuation of her former home, HemOtarn.
Before her stood only two other Keepers with their bonded Derraka at their side, Keeper Star with Arc and Keeper Tiirana (Beth) with Ansel. Kim’s own Derraka Comet glides down too her side after having her last flight around their world, her face is solemn.
Ever since the news that HemOtarn faced its end they had been preparing to relocate to a new world, not a problem for Kim and Comet as they were used to traveling from world to world but they were in charge of more then just themselves now and have had to organize the move of 37 Derraka eggs as well as over 30 different animals and pets they had collected over the years.
A few other travelers were also waiting to help two of which were Dian Tiansay and Ferabird, a strong spirited woman who enjoys traveling from world to world collecting creatures and beasts as she goes (much as Kim did before she became guardian). Ferabird had been very helpful and Lusewing hoped after all this was over she would consider trying to finding a connecting Derraka egg for her.
This was the moment the new crystal gate would open on the new world, their new home. Kim and Comet had obviously been there before, they had had to chose it from many other potential worlds, and had even moved all 37 Derraka eggs to the new hatching caves (Tarna the Orphaned Hurricanewing dragon stud guard over them at that moment so Kim had no fear for their safety)
However though the eggs were out of the way there was still all of the other pets to move, some more cooperative then others. Thankfully at least some of her “pets” could help with moving others, the Vulpuls were happy to keep all the horses together and though im not sure Hasetter the Reneura was too pleased Icesha the Niette was very happy to hitch a lift on his back.
The Crystal gate hummed and flickered and then started to give out a steady white light.

“Right is everyone ready?” Kim asked, she was met with smiling and nodding heads (as well as a few growls and calls) “then if you would follow me” she and Comet disappeared in to the gate followed by a multitude of creatures.
