The Voltaru people, exisiting happily under a socialist government, have a moderatly successful and steady economy.  The currency, The Volt, remains strong.  The regional currency of Antarctica, the Polar Crown, is also accepted widely thoughout the nation.  A 100% income tax is recycled back to the worker through a complicated socialist-born system. Trade is a huge aspect of this economy, as natural foods are, as expected, very rare in The Voltarum.  As a result, Uranium Mining and Oil Refination have become two of the biggest industries in the nation, even though little of each product is used as a power source due to the immense geothermal reserves.  Significant trade is done with both Antarctican nations, as well as non-regional nations.
