Scarred Fireworks
Independence for Fireworkers
We did not even invent fireworks
The Chinese did
Hear the shrill cry
As they illuminate the sky
Reminiscent of bombs and boisterous flares
Crackling in midsummer’s air
Patriots!
The time has come!
Our government has taken took much from us!
Our imperialistic masters are destroying our world!
Revolt!
Organize the Continental army
We will be our own nation!
Colonies unite!
Patriots!
The time has come!
Out government as it should be
After 227 years of golden ages
We celebrate the beginning
Every beginning has an end
I love you, America
Every single one of you
