Facing Judgement
Everyone Separated
Someone told me that I do not feel
They said,
“It is either your upbringing, your interests, or your gender...
...but you do not feel anything.”
“You say heartless words
You take from me.”
“You are the reason
Why life is so terrible.”
“We never met, but you are to blame for my suffering.”
They said this to me
Without even knowing me
Without ever being me
Without feeling what I feel
How could they know everything?
I feel it
I feel sympathy and empathy
I care
I love
I cherish just like you do
I hurt
I hate
I rage just like you do
I am you
You are me
You can’t separate the human condition
We are the same
Black, white
Love, anger
Male, Female
You cannot separate them
There is at least a little bit of it all in all of us
We sense the same feeling
We see the same sky
We feel the same wind
Heaven forbid you take a taste of me
I am everyone, everyone is me
You are everyone, everyone is you
We are everyone, you cannot separate everyone
You cannot separate the gods from the mountain
You cannot separate the oxygen from the water
You cannot take breath from the creature and expect it to live
If you fell from cliffs stretching to our sky
I would climb and catch to rectify
If I fell into ocean’s deep
You would not dare to stress or keep
The life alive that unconditionally feels
That is of this earth like you
That is you
