Gods Sacrifice

A God’s Sacrifice

Nightly pangs of fangs bequeath,
A legend of your sole belief,
Release time in common threads,
That line the coffin filled with heads.

Ancient tombs of kings who roam,
In frothy seas that hiss and foam,
Come to a god’s sacrifice,
That fills the world with woe and vice.

The ghost of Dumuzi moans,
As choirs sing in somber tones.
Cast the stars as queens unknown,
Bewilder knights whose nights have flown.

Guardians of heaven’s gates,
Do not decide the human fates.
Gone are those who chose the strife,
Now is the time to live your life.
