Jones (Harrison Ford) watches laborers store the Ark of the Covenant with thousands of other archeological artifacts.  He says something like,

‘‘they have no idea what they have there.'' 

 

What had happened earlier when the Germans opened the Ark?

 

Is there Biblical support of this?

 

Did you know that most of us have an object of awesome power setting on shelves at home?  Hold up the bible.   I once knew of a man who received a Bible for joining the Church (this man was so drunk he could not hit the floor with his hat) he covered in plastic and kept it like a shrine.

In order to release this power what do we need to do?  This book has supernaturally transformed the lives of people for thousands of years.  And if you allow its power to be released in your life, it can do the same for you. Don't leave it in storage.

 

Father:  may we never lose sight of the awesome power of your word?  May we commit it to our heart and act on its truth?
