I Am a Warrior
Ephesians 6:11-12 KJV
Put
on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of
the devil.
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against
principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this
world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Teaching Aid – a Bible
Have you considered this book to a weapon? In Ephesians 6 it is referred to as the sword of the spirit. Do any of you know what else Ephesians says? According to Ephesians 6 11-12 who is the enemy.
Have you considered the significance of what we say at the end of each class?[1] We are called to be warriors in God’s army, to stand against evil and stand for what is right, to not do things that are wrong even though we are criticized, to defend the weak even though every one is against them and it makes us unpopular.
Our enemy is not other people but evil.
Father give us the courage to resist evil and to stand for that which is right and according to your will amen
[1] I am a Warrior. Jesus Christ in my commanding officer. My weapons are the Bible, Prayer, and Salvation through the Blood of Jesus Christ. Satan will not intimidate me and Hell cannot control me. Amen
