The Mute and her Muse (Feel My Pain!)
An uninspired poet is a corpse, Inexpressible body with frozen voice. Bound tongue can't leap through languages' many warps. No utterance she makes; doesn't have a choice. Her muse creates visions her tongue betray. A dire wish, the sonnet be an essay! But dawning, muse unblocks words in undertones. Ideas emerge like blossoming flowers, Hidden no more by paralyzing snows. With spring thaw muse brought, words empowers Poet to compose friendly verse she knows. Deceased no more! Hand flows across the page, Profuse words, voice unfrozen…now a Sage!
