Suki was born in Japan, her mother is Japanese, her father was an American soldier stationed in Iwakuni. Her parents were never married, much to the distress of her grandparents. Her mother died when she was 15, and when she was 17 she left to the US to find her father, only to discover that he was dead and that she had a half brother, Cree Simons. Being the only family each other had, the two instantly bonded, and Cree became very protective of his little sister.

Cree owned a garage, and soon had Suki put on the papers a s half owner. He expanded the shop to include a paint and body shop for Suki. When Cree disappeared, Suki was informed of a clause in the ownership papers that she was previously unaware of stating that if anything happened to her brother, the shop became completely hers.

For a while, Cree and Suki lived in New Orleans. While there, Suki met Haru Takashi, a fellow racer and a member of the Triad. They quickly fell in love, and by the end of their first year together they were married, and expecting twins. Unable to deal with the loss of her brother, she took some time to visit her family in Japan. Once they discovered she was not only married but expecting, they insisted she stay until they met her husband and the children were born.

At this point in time, the twins have been born, both beautiful girls, though there were complications during delivery which almost cost Suki her life. She is still in Japan, recovering from the birthing of the daughters, and fighting the depression of having to go thru it all without her husband, whom she misses very much.
