This is a suggested contents for a roadside emergency kit. Based on the size of what you can carry or want to carry you may decide that some of the items are to be left out.
1) cell phone (charged)
2) credit card (not maxed out)
3) CAA card (they will get you a flat bed to tow a bike, have to be a gold member however)
4) mini U-lock for brake rotor
5) rain gear
6) plate for side stand (electrical backing plate works well)
7) spare fuses
8) electrical tape
9) first aid kit
10) tire run flat (gets you moving again, but changing the tire is mess after)
11) tool kit (the one the comes with the bike or better tools)
12) zip ties (many many uses and still counting)
13) small length of saftey wire (holds the hot bits on in an emergency)
14) glow sticks, makes trying to find out what went wrong at night easier
