The Reality

What's to say? We're a crazy bunch of college students who more or less live in Michigan...most of us go to MSU. We all know what Euchre is and how it's played and we know that there are only two seasons to any year (not four) and they're called Winter and Construction. We also know that Robert Jordan, while obsessed with lesbians and apparently able to write an entire chapter of a book about a collar pin, is an excellent worldbuilder.

Why do we roleplay in his world using his authorized core rules, even though Dungeons and Dragons is still an infinitely better game in more ways than one? We're fans of Robert Jordan (disgruntled fans most of the time, but fans) and we're so addicted that we even know what the "Big White Book" is. To admit the truth, I bought the core rulebook for the WoT RPG at 70% off the cover price at a liquidation sale and it's the best thing I ever bought on clearance...I could have paid full price for it and not felt cheated one bit.

Our roleplaying is set at the current time (right at the end of Crossroads of Twilight) and will probably extend far into the future and end around Tarmon Gaidon (The Last Battle). We call our site "The Disassembly of Reason" because Linea thought it would be cool and because Ryah is presently hauling a copy of it that was preserved from the Age of Legends around on her person IC. The hope is that someday one of the party may learn the Old Tongue and be able to read it!
