The Respiratory system
The respiratory system is one of the most important systems in the body.
Without the respiratory system, the human body would not be able to survive.
The respiratory system controls breathing and exchanges of gases from the
body to the environment. It is basically made up of the lungs, nose, and the
diaphragm. The internal and external gases are exchanged through both the nose
and the diaphragm, which gets you oxygen and keeps you alive. There are many diseases
in the world that have to do with inhalation of gases such as SARS, bronchitis,
and pneumonia. The role of the respiratory system is the exchange of gases those
keeps us alive.
