Excel Spreadsheets
The students in the Third Grade (3A) are "excel-ling" in mathematics. They are using MicroSoft Excel in their classroom as they learn about multiplication, problem-solving strategies, more subtraction and more addition from the previous grades. Please click on one of the above mathematical operations and see if you can answer the problems. When in the excel spreadsheet, select a problem, write the equation down on a separate piece of paper. Click Insert and then click Function. (Make sure that the operation needed to solve the math problem is highlighted, i.e. sum, product, difference) Type in the numbers in the box provided, hit enter and see if your answer is the same as the computer's.
