The first book I reviewed was The Satanic Bible by Anton LaVey. This book marks the era of a new beginning. In details it explains to you, the reader, why so many things in this world are considered a "sin". LaVey at the tender age of 16, traveled with a carnival and on Saturday nights, he would see men lusting after half naked girls. And on Sunday morning, when he was playing the organ for the tent evangelist at the other end of the carnival lot, he would see the same men sitting in the pews with their wives and children asking god to forgive them and purge them of carnal desires. The next Saturday night, they would be back at the carnival or some other place of indulgence.
From this moment on he discovered that the Christian Church thrives on hypocrisy. From this experience he then created the The Church of Satan. The only thing required of the reader is to have an open mind when reading this book. People tend to fear what they can’t comprehend.
The second book is the companion to the Satanic Bible, it’s the Satanic Rituals. In this book you will find actual texts of forbidden rites as the Black Mass and Satanic Baptisms for both adults and children. It gives you a full understanding of what a Satanist goes through to prepare him or herself in order to receive Satan. I personally recommend both books. You can either find them at Barnes and Nobles or at Feral House.
