The Freemont Street Experience in downtown Las Vegas, Nevada (a few minutes drive from the Strip) features **FREE** entertainment ranging from concerts on two stages to spectacular night-time light shows on the canopy that covers the four-block length of retailers, kiosks and hotel casinos.
Think of a multicoloured stadium scoreboard, multiply it 10 or 20 times, add a half-megawatt sound system and you have the FSE Light and Sound show. Light and Sound Shows start hourly from 6pm until midnight and are 5-6 minutes in duration. Polyester Express played some great tunes earlier in the day. These excerpts are from August 1999.
