This is the one and only R&S scissor door eclipse
The doors are usually the first thing someone sees on this car. they
are a R&S original design that incorporates air cylinders to
open and close the doors. if you look carefully you will notice the
lower 4 inches of the door has been molded into the car this gives more
room to exit/enter the car.currently there is switches in the center console
as well as rear hatch area to open and close the doors.when the wiring
is completed the doors will be opened and closed via a remote control.
For those of you that don't know this car is airbaged. it was the first
gen2 eclipse to get bagged in the country. the bag set up is
a R&S custom set up using Firestone bags with R&S brackets
and four corner control.With 6 1/4 inch lift in the front and seven in
the rear this car gets up like it was on pumps but rides like its "on air".
the handles and gas filler were shaved with the gas
filler now residing behind the taillight.which releases off of the
factor handle next to the seat.

how bout that paint? the paint is PPG harlaquin which flips magenta
to gold. it also bends about 4 other colors in the process as you will
be able to see in these pictures. the paint was applied by a local body
shop.
