1988 Formula 383 Firebird WS6


This is pete's Firebird its a factory WS6 originally a factory 350 car thats been stroked
I like to think its kinda "sleeperish"


 
It hasn't been run in the quarter since the engine mods BUT it did go 14.4 when stock with just a cat back exhaust.
Hopefully when the bottle goes in and we get some traction I will be looking at low 11's

SRP forged pistons 11.9:1 comp
Lunati street/race forged rods
Scat 383 crank in a factory 4-bolt
chevy ZZ4 heads
ARP fasteners
comp cams cam
crane 1.6 rockers
1 peice push rods
hypertech chip stage 2

Predicted HP ~aprox ~400

 future mods include
200HP direct NOS
new rear. its got the factory 9 bolt
headers
wider tires!
Baer brake upgrade 13 rotors front and 12's in the back

Being a factory WS6 car it handles OK not great and definatly no Stealth or Vette but good for an F-body
