Introduction
- The subjects of are communication and drafting. The objectives are to discuss the importance of communication, and to highlight some of the rules that are to be followed when creating a draft.
Facts
Communication
- Communication is the thread that links person A to person B. The facts must make sense to person B so person A drafts for them.
Drafting
- It is to be assumed that person B does not know anything about the subject. Draft in a way so that person B can comprehend it. Also a pattern must be followed. There is a four part format for the plan. The format can be:
- Introduction
- Thesis
- Antithesis
- Conclusion
- Introduction
- Facts
- Analysis
- Conclusion
- Introduction
- Analysis
- Chronology
- Conclusion
Analysis
Communication
- Communication is important because it is the link between people. Without communication, people would not be able to exchange ideas and methods. In order for people to work together successfully there must a good line of communication.
Drafting
- Empathy is an important part of drafting. Since it is assumed that person B knows nothing about the subject, empathy is an important part of drafting. You must write so that person B can comprehend it. Following one of the proposed plans makes it easier for person B to understand the draft. They can more easily see and classify your ideas in each part of the draft. The plan makes sense of your ideas.
Conclusion
- To be successful in today’s world, we must know how to communicate. It is not enough to know what to say, but also how to say it. If no one can understand your ideas they are ineffective and ignored. The truly successful person will have the good ideas, but be able to express them in a way that everyone can understand.
