SWF Title Rules

SWF Heavyweight Title

The biggest and most respected championship in the promotion. To have held this belt is the ultimate acolade and therefore is the prize everyone wants to claim.

The title can change hands on a PINFALL or SUBMISSION as is the norm in pro-wrestling. BUT a time limit of 30 minutes is imposed in title defenses. Matches in the SWF will usually not last this long, but if it does, if the challenger lasts the whole 30 minutes with the champion then the title will change hands to the CHALLENGER! Thus taking away part of the champions advantage and making the champion prove that he is the better man in the ring, rather than resting on his laurals on settling for a time limit draw.

SWF Madness Title

Normal non-title "Hardcore" style bouts will be won by pinfall, submission and KO, whereby a competitor fails to reach his feet by the count of 10. Title matches will imply these rules with this added stipulation; the title will be on the line for the first 10 minutes only, after this deadline has passed the match will continue with no time limit but the title cannot change hands.

SWF Jnr-Heavyweight Title

Normal matches in the Jnr-Heavyweight Division, which is under 235lbs, can be won by pinfall, submission, DQ and countout. A time limit of 15 minutes is in effect for all matches in this division, when time expires the referee of the contest will decide the winner on points. During title matches the title cannot change hands by DQ or countout but can change hands by pinfall, submission and via points.

SWF Tag Team Titles

Normal rules for tag team titles as in real pro-wrestling but there will be TWO ref's, one in the ring, and one out.

SWF Six Man Titles

Must be defended on a weekly basis, and with the prospect of scores of 3 man teams in the federation being unlikely, the bookers will book however they see fit into these matches whether they be friend or foe. Late on-card additions to the teams etc will be common.

Six Man tag's will operate under lucha-libre rules, when a member of a team exits the ring, a team-mate can take his place whether a tag was made or not. If no member of one team is in the ring for 10 seconds, the team will be counted out. A 15 minute time limit will apply.

Normal non-title matches can be won by pinfall, submission, countout and DQ. The titles cannot change hands by DQ but can on a COUNOUT as well as the usual pinfall and submission.

SWF Non-title, normal matches

Will operate under a 15 minute time limit, the expiry of which will signal a draw. Matches can be won by pinfall, submission, countout and DQ's.
