Name: "harry georgatos"Saw MURDER A LA MOD last night, digitally restored. This is a forgotten cult classic from the '60's. One can see how this film had inspired early Tarantino movies in RESERVOIR DOGS, PULP FICTION and JACKIE BROWN when it comes to the different use of pespectives from different characters POV. De Palma would go on to use this technique in SNAKE EYES and briefly in MISSION:IMPOSSIBLE. MURDER A LA MOD is one of De Palma near perfect movies that has been forgotten. Also De Palma references the clock time 3:32 in the film which is the exact time in the alternate reality of FEMME FATALE indicating a dream world.
