Nine Inch Nails is probably my favorite band. Their industrial style of music is headed up by Trent Reznor who, in my mind, is an intelligent, and creative artist. His industrial style has been copied by many, including Filter, Stabbing Westward, and most recently Marilyn Manson, but none can match Trents creativity. If you want info on the band, downloads, pics, sounds, or movies, I strongly suggest that you visit:

The Downward Spiral Their best album to date is "The Downward Spiral", which was their second full length album. You change speeds frequently from soft quitar, to heavy beats and screaming lyrics. The most popular song from the album is "Closer", which was matched perfectly to the movie "Seven". The songs blend together nicely and draw you into a trance that removes all non-sense from the everyday. Get this album. You'll love it I promise.

Further Down the Spiral Their follow-up album to "The Downward Spiral", is "Further Down the Spiral". This EP picks up where the first left off. Many of the beats on this one are continuations that shift sequences so often, you find yourself wanting even more. "Piggy" gets even better on this one, with new music that hits even harder. "Mr. Selfdestruct" was not good though....if you've heard both versions, you know why.

The FragileTheir most recent album, "The Fragile" is probably my third favorite. Some critics claim that it is even bleaker than "The Downward Spiral" and I think that was Trent's intent. It isn't though. Maybe it's because I haven't listened to it enough, I can't tell. Usually, all I need is a little taste, and I'm hooked, but on this album, I wasn't.It's still one of the biggest pop albums of the year regardless of what I think.
