Mat's Devils Page!! Ta Boot!

Yes...this is my tribute to the team of teams...the New Jersey Devils. I have followed this team for many years, and look forward to every game, trade, or blurb I can get my hands on. Last year's cup was the best sporting thing to ever happen to me. A repeat is tough, but considering we have teams like the Rangers and Flyers in the east, our chances are pretty good that we'll represent the east once again! I update this page everyweek, so bookmark it!

What's up people? Same ole junk here. I've been trying to figure out why the Devils have been sucking lately, and yesterday while I was having a bowel movement, it struck me. The only thing that will send the Devils along the path of winners again is a trade. We need a new face in the lineup, a face that can score at will and help replace the sneaky Russian that now resides in Toronto. I know that Bobby Holik's contract is up at the end of the year, but he is really playing well right now, and I'd hate to see him go. He'll probably leave at the end of the season, but we really need him right now. I also think 1/2 the problem is splitting up the A line. I don't understand it. Lets split up the only consistant scoring line we have, so we can make 3 lines that aren't consistant. Nice! Put them back together and leave them alone! It will probably take another month to build their confidence back up now, but when they have it..they are unstoppable.

The Devil of the week: John Hall..Kicking a 53yarder in the wind, on a grass field, on the road, to bring his team into the playoffs. He's Green, but he's still the Devil of the week.
