BIOGRAPHY

Fernan has been playing music for over 25 years. Born in Santiago, Chile he moved to Toronto, Canada at the age of 9. He plays a variety of flutes including the pan flute, quena, and native style flutes. He has released 9 instrumental CD's and is currently working on a new production. He has also contributed to several recordings from hip-hop to jazz with various artists. His repertoire includes South American folk, easy listening popular and classical music. Fernan has participated in many festivals and events over the years. His interests include promoting and building native wind instruments and photography.
